It's senior year and it is November and we're about three months into the school year. My senior year has been good to me in so many ways although I am currently behind in U.S Government, I am trying the best I can to get on pace because before I know it graduation will be here. I also really want to make my family proud and graduate this year I want to show them I can do it. I don't want to be the person that freaks out at the end of the year because of having a lot of work to finish. I want to be on pace like most of my classmates. I also believe I can get it done because if I set my mind to it and focus I know I can accomplish it. I can do this by not talking a lot and having little side distractions or by sitting by myself to isolate everyone so I can do my work.
Although it doesn't sound like a lot to be behind in one class, I have to finish this semester since U.S Government is a one semester class. Before the end of the semester my goal is to have seven out of seven classes finished. As of now I have my first semester of physiology finished, I have in mind to finish second semester this semester so I have one less class to worry about next semester. Some difficulties I am having with my senior project as of now is setting up my weebly, adding pictures and decorating it. One thing I am enjoying about my senior project is writing my journals, it shows me how in a little amount of time so much can change.
My senior year has been hard for me due to having job and not having time to do work out of school, but I always strive to success and find a way to finish. Therefore my senior year has been a good experience of the real life after high school. For after graduation I have been looking into Porterville Community College and College of the Sequoias in Visalia. I am still debating on what to do after high school either to work or go to community college are my two choices. On my senior project I am working on journal number two. Senior project isn't really difficult you just have to put work in on your own time. I believe that's why most people have trouble with it and are behind pace on their senior project. That's how it is for me at least I tend to forget or do other homework I have so I find it kind of complicated to fit it into the time I have to work on it. As of now I am not feeling any support from family for graduation, it is mostly my boyfriend and his family that help me stay motivated in school. They are there to help me when I'm stressed and when I start to think that I wont make it through the year. My senior year is the most stressing for me out of my four years in high school, but I will finish and stay on pace.
