My winter break was not really a "break", most of my break I spent doing work for all my classes to be on pace. I also spent all my break working. First semester was crucial because of my time spent doing soccer and working but I have been able to manage. I know that now that soccer is going to be over and its second semester it will get easier for me.
Though, I passed all my classes for first semester, I would have wished to get a higher grade in all my classes. I know that I could have changed something I did last semester to truly push myself for a higher level. Over all I am happy with my results because I know that because I had so much on my plate, it wasn't as easy to get a higher grade in my classes than it was for other students that don't have much going on. I don't regret anything because although my plate was full with so many extra activities, it made my senior year more memorable and worthwhile.
It has finally hit me that graduation night is just around the corner and I just need to push myself to the finish line. I have been able to keep up with all my senior project assignment and am soon to present my experience with a whole panel. I am excited but yet torn for this year to end because although I want to get a taste of the real world, I will miss my friends, family, teachers, and just high school overall. I am satisfied with my high school experience because it has changed me into a better student, sister, daughter, athlete, and person in general. I wouldn't be able to do that without the help of my friends, and family. Now it's time to finish the race stronger than I started.
All I need for second semester in order to be ready for graduation is to finish physiology and fitness training 2 in order to be finished with my three-year pathway courses. I also need to finish English 12, econ and of course my senior exit interview. It has been difficult to keep with my senior project, time has been passing by so fast. First semester flew by, and now second semester is too. We only have eighty school days left until graduation. The stress has been increasing, it's almost time to leave high school and continue our lives onto the real world. Thinking about how this is already my last semester as a high school student makes me sad. I just have one more semester as a Lindsay High school student, which is unbelievable to think about because I still remember my first semester as a freshman. After this semester it's me on my own. I know once I leave Lindsay High school, I need to accomplish my responsibilities because a professor wont be reminding me to finish my work. I know that in college the semesters are going to be completely different from our semesters now in high school.
